MFCI Locations OLD

Since its founding in 2005, MFCI has been providing the equipment necessary for a safe delivery to various developing areas in the world. By bringing our skills, knowledge and modern medical equipment to these remote areas, families can live with a sense of hope and opportunity in place of worry and despair.

Pondicherry is the location in India where we established our clinic. Associated with the Mahatma Gandhi Hospital and Medical College, we’ve established a woman’s maternity clinic at their health center.Currently, our rural clinic is in need of ambulances, medical equipment and supplies as well as transportation costs for volunteer medical personnel.

The Maasai people are indigenous to the North Central Tanzania and Southern Kenya regions. In villages of southern Kenya, the nearest clinic is over 60 miles away. Most of the sick cannot afford to make this journey and many that try to not survive. Our clinic located at the Maasai regions of Ngatatek founded in August 2007 can save the lives of thousands of mothers and babies who cannot travel the distance to the district hospital for care.Since our first delivery in 2007, we have provided care and support for the families in the region.  Now, we hope to begin construction on a clinic expansion.  This expanded facility will provide living accommodations for the volunteer doctors who will continue to uphold and bring hope to the community.  But, we need your financial support to accomplish this goal.

We met with the World Health Organization and the Eritrea Ministry of Health to put together a curriculum for a medical residency OB/GYN program.  However, we desperately need funds to continue this important program that has already produced its first class of graduates. Our newly established women’s hospital and medical clinic is educating the people of this region of the dangers and preventable diseases in childbearing as well as providing medical services that meet their needs. In addition, we are working closely with the Ministry of Health in promoting the decrease of female genital mutilation.
