Annual Lullaby Ball Benefits MFCI

Alfre Woodard, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Dr. Lisa Masterson, and Cookie Johnson

The Beverly Hills Hotel ballroom glittered Tuesday evening, May 8th, 2007, as black tie attired celebrities and guests celebrated MFCI’s second annual Lullaby Ball, which raises money to help the fight against maternal and infant mortality. Mistress of ceremonies, actress Alfre Woodard of ABC’s “Desperate Housewives,” was on board to honor Oscar-nominee, Marianne Jean-Baptiste of CBS’ “Without A Trace,” with the MFCI Humanitarian Award, while Cookie Johnson was the evening’s recipient of the Lullaby Ball Award.

MFCI’s founder, Dr. Lisa Masterson, was also joined by her co-hosts on “The Doctors,” Dr. Travis Stork, Dr. Jim Sears, and Dr. Andrew Ordon. Following a live auction, the event ended with donors dancing the night away.
